Upcomming ban list - Beginning September 1st 2010

Here is a list of current sets that will be  rotated out and therefore banned after this years world championships, from September 1st.

In the current block of sets these will no longer be playable in tournament play :

Diamond and Pearl
Diamond and Pearl : Mysterious Treasures
Diamond and Pearl : Secret Wonders
Diamond and Pearl : Great Encounters
Promos numbered DP1 - DP21
Cards from all 'pop packs'
Cards from pokemon league play  ( for example claydol  and roseannes research   ) that feature in the above sets will also be banned.

The LEGAL sets will be :

Diamond and Pearl : Majestic Dawn
Diamond and Pearl : Legends Awakened
Diamond and Pearl : Stormfront
Platinum
Platinum : Rising Rivals
Platinum : Supreme Victors
Platinum : Arceus
Heartgold Soulsilver
Heartgold Soulsilver : Unleashed
Promos numbered DP22 and higher and promos numbered HGSS1 and higher
Pokemon rumble box set
HGSS Trainer Kit

Also any sets that are released in the future will also be legal.
