And so it begins.... After opening the mahoosive box I was confronted by this large mountain of plastic As many of you know a Bretonnian army HAS to have a BSB and a General, so I set about making a BSB out of the bits in the box and a small piece of brass rod. Thats all for now, ill post up some more when ive finished in the gym. Cheers Matt

Should see mine in a couple of days. Ive started on the Corsairs, well actually all put together now. I opted for AHWs rather then Handbows. The Cavalry are together just guys to put on top, and the rak and file are half together not sure wether to go all crosbows or half and half.

Ok here are my ogres, they are currently mostly armless at this point partly because i haven't decided on weapons and partly because theres some conversions that need to get done first The ogres all come on the same basic sprue and then any upgrades to turn them into other types of guys are on other sprue's which is quite nice because it means more options. You cant quite see all the gnoblars in that picture but there sure are a lot of them.

@Dyce - that's alot of gnoblars! Ive finished a test bowmen, didnt take to long which is a good thing, because the knights are going to take a while. (the blue doesnt look like that at all! - ill get a better pic in the daylight) Ive nearly finished the Men at Arms, im really not enjoying painting them at all.....bloody peasants - im just glad I dont have to EVER paint another unit of them as most of the army is mounted! Cheers Matt

Hey, just to prove something is happening here are my pics so far: | | Theres Him! With his Empire | Heres Me! With my Dark Elves |
After a breif flick through my codex i got straight to work. I've decided to completely drop the spearmen opting for all Crossbow persons! The Corsairs are armed with AHW and full Command. Then my duders are lanced up and have full command. I have also created a Hero from Spearmen legs, Riders Torso and Sword Arm, plus random head. Enjoy! The Army | Corsairs | Duders | Major/Hero |
Crossbowmen Tomorrow i will be spraying all of these bad boyz

Orange cold ones sound awesome!
Gold Dark elves work well actually - my old DE army was gold and dark red, altough gold and purple sounds good!
Who else in the list is on the forums?
Let yourselves be known even if you havent done anything yet!

The Men at arms are pretty much done now! Im not as worried as I was about completing the battalion now (as well as my entries for the TOFP on warseer) as these didnt take to long. I used the dogs from the command sprue's as I thought the peasants would take longer to paint, so I tried to cut down as much as possible, fluff wise it fits, and it make a nice change! Just a little bit of touching up to do now, but there usable! >>> I dont know what id do without the washes!!!! Cheers Matt

Ive finished the first 10 saurus, there are 20 in the box, but I can only fit 10 in my list Im planning to add the other 10 next month, hence the big movement tray.
