Hello!

Over the years ive gathered together a silly amount of models, covering nearly all of GW systems, as well as several other companies.

Im not going to deny that I often impulse buy and alot of those models remain in the packaging for a very long time.

This log is an attempt to combat that, and will contain all the models im painting that arent for a particular army (thats what the other logs are for Wink).

Ill also include commisions etc in this log.

Anyway that was alot of text so on to the pics!

As always I apologise for the poor quality of the pictures, maybe this attempt at working through my back log will improve my cam skills Wink

First up - Vlad!

Cheers

Nice work Mr Beer, I like the skin tone and the faces on the cloak, glad you took that silly escaping spirit off. Looks a bit weird imho.

Will be starting my VC's next month for the TOFP on warseer, think Im going to start with the skeletons as they are a good starting point for colour scheme I reckon. But I may pick your brains when it comes to doing the vamps flesh.

Cheers bud!

Your welcome to pic my brains mate, ive scrawled the recipe for the flesh down - i was quite please with the finished look.

I couldnt stand the spirit - it ruined an otherwise amazing model IMO, thankfully it only took a little greenstuff to fill in the gap it left - nothing overly taxing Tongue

I look forward to seeing your take on the counts - can we expect a log on here as well as the TOFP on warseer?

Cheers
Matt

Yeh I thought the spirit ruined the whole model, I prefer the Mannfred model though, although youve got to admire Vlads survivability lol.

Yes I could well post a log here as well for the vamps. Will have to see how I get on with them, will be nice painting dark colours again. Mmmm washes.

Mannfred is quite cool, but your going to need a bucket load of green stuff to put that beast together  Wink

Behold the Daemon prince of nurgle!

I really enjoyed painting him, so much so that my Death Guard army may be along sooner than planned Tongue

Next up...who knows what ever takes my fancy when I open the cupboard later Wink

Very nice paint job Mr Beer. I like the flesh colours youve used and the high lighting on the loin cloth. Here, here, we need some more active painters/posters on here  Wink

Nice, fav model in the canon crew is the sean connery look-alike on the far right.

The chap with the plumed helmet is awesome! is he a hero or unit champion?

He's a hero Tongue - just a simple kit bash, body and weapon from the General kit, head from the state troops and the helmet arm and shield (its on his back) are from a knightly order.

Hopefully if I get time tomorrow ill take some pics of some of my other models that havent been seen, including some of my commisions.

Cheers
